Hello to my blog friends! Hope February is finding you in good health and with a few dollars in your pocket! Many have been ill and I'm glad to see most seem better now. We had a little fight with the colds here too!

There is a fun gig to mention coming this weekend. Spahettinni again! Working with Greg Adams of Tower of Power fame - 4 piece horn band featuring the horns! It is really fun! I am covering the Bari chair this time and love playing music that Greg writes for Bari. Greg kinda started the cool Bari Funk thang way back when and still writes some beautiful parts for the bari sax! LOVE IT!!

I heard the show was SOLD OUT! Tables for dinner in the show room - but call and see if walk in, bar, standing room, are options. Spag is in Seal Beach CA -

NEW VENTURES -
ONLINE - Started a few new pages. I had a friend tell me about TUMBLr - a New BLOG site - at least to me.
I started a TUMBLr Page - http://gvsaxboy.tumblr.com/ - and I have all the Valentines Day Love Song Videos posted in the blog! I was told it does some crazy stuff but I am still getting around and playing with stuff.
ONLINE - Started an About Me Page - A basic hub for links on sites and socials for someone. It looked pretty basic but I had to try it too! GIGS/WORK - There are always calls coming in and there are a few new options I have not posted yet.
- Writing for a large retail music site.
- Part time at a church out of state.
- New band that has been in rehearsal possibly booking now.
- Writing music and producing with a few friends.
- Producing a vocal project.
- Aggressive booking efforts with 2 of my loved bosses.
- All steady work has ended and I am 100% freelance and freak for now.
- Audition for a long term full time music playing gig.

the Good and Bad of it - Many of these things can not happen together. You will never find everything working out so I am not really worried! I am glad there seems to be chatter going on - work options still ahead - life beyond the death of the recording industry
