Straight Saxophones - straight tenor and alto video

We all have seen straight Soprano Saxes (and yes - they do come curved also). Many know that there are smaller saxophones; the Sopranino and the Soprillo or Piccolo Sax is even smaller and they are always straight.

So what about bigger saxes?? Are they ever straight? How straight does something have to br to be considered straight? Reminds me of labels for Organic Food and All Natural - hahaha! But I digress.........

NAMM Show 2011 Video Just Posted -- The Straight Freaks of Sax -- The Straight Alto Saxophone and Straight Tenor Saxophone made by Dakota. Pictures and Video with sound examples for both! ENJOY........

Footnote - This is my second video edit job with the new MAC on Final Cut Express - getting more a knack on what does what and how to get what I was trying to get a clip to do - hahaha - The Freaks of Sax Bass and Contra clip took 3 days - this only took 2! Pretty exciting!
It all starts with footage - gotta have some video! Then pick thru them - file the good ones - clip and edit - go thru pics I have also taken - get pics and videos in Final Cut - assemble and arrange - Live Type for an intro and outro - Video content is good - volume adjust Audio and cross fades - burn clip - ProTools session - insert Video and create a voice over track to the video - burn the voice over - fly it into the Final Cut session - recheck all audio with new track and background music mix - Burn a finished clip - CHECK and POST!

I don't think the actual time in Final Cut is that much time - but the process just takes time.....

Sax Players Blog ALWAYS has the LATEST from Greg's World - BOOKMARK IT - Come Back Often!
