SPAM and BLOGS in 2011

Just a quick post - rant on new BLOG spam!

BLOGS are the latest thing for evil cheaters to destroy!

I receive 20+ spam messages a day on each BLOG I run.

WHY?? WHY you ask? Because people want short cuts. People want to be ahead of other people and will use any evil program they can to get there. The SPAM is coming from a program that is attacking BLOGS with generic comments in an attempt to increase link popularity very quickly. People are buying this and using it. People are going to be busted for it real quick too.

Every short cut attempt to BEAT the system always crashes and burns at some point. The increase and comments I have been hearing online tell me it is working great for these low-life's - but it will not last - NEVER DOES!

I mark every message as SPAM, block the IP Address, BAN the IP Address, Report it to my service provider and then, after I have done everything I can to slap the punk on the behind, I then delete the post too. Since my posts require approval to be live - the benefit is never seen and the damage is the same. My little way of attempting to maintain balance in a sick world where getting ahead has no morals and only serves to destroy what the web was intended to be - an open information source and way to connect.

SHAME ON YOU for using software to manipulate the system, trash peoples virtual homes all for short lived and selfish gain..... I wish I could yell at everyone of you. I can report you - that makes me smile.......

Spammer / programmers have destroyed Craig's List - eBay - Guest Books - Blogs - Online Services - Amazon - and the list will continue to grow. Greed sucks! Cheaters suck! Get in line and get to work! Stop thinking you will get away with the cheating short cuts - ARGGGGG
