Just a quick post to wish you all a great Christmas Day! I pray your day is filled with friends and family and love! I know it can be a hard time for many and for a lot of different reasons. I feel your pain but want to focus on what Christmas is really about. It dates back to the birth of Hope for the human race in a small child named Jesus. 

Many are searching the web for "What is the meaning of Christmas?" I know because I have a few Christmas sites online and track how people found the site. I find it amazing that so many are searching for the meaning of Christmas! Is it possible our politically correct culture in America has removed all the significance of the Christ child, making Christmas a commercial Holiday devoid of all significance??

Christmas is simply God showing up on earth as a small child named Jesus. He came to show us how to live, establish his church, commission the founding fathers and then to die, a perfect sacrifice for our sins so we could spend eternity with Him in a place called heaven. He offers this gift of purpose and forgiveness to all that call on His name and ask for it. 

Many trip out on RELIGION and Jesus is no exception. He bashed the religious leaders of His day for there lack of love and for missing the truth about the world and God. He was killed for it! But it was all part of the bigger plan too. It was no surprise. Jesus knew why he was here and fulfilled a ton of prophecy's while He lived - even the death part. 

God made a way for fallen man to be made right with Him by allowing His Son Jesus to die for all the worlds sin. He offers his free gift to anyone that will accept it. Because Jesus died for all wrong you have ever done, we have confidence in the afterlife and help in this life!

So many searching and a simple answer seemed very appropriate on this Christmas Day! This is the day believers celebrate Jesus coming, actual God in the flesh, to pay for our sins. Christmas is a celebrated by over a billion people on this planet but many don't know why. 

The gifts are just a picture of the ultimate gift. The lights a picture of the light He was and the light He gives us to live this life. The Santa concept is a picture of good and giving. 

Christmas is a story of ultimate love and sacrifice to people that don't deserve His offer but can gladly accept His gift and know they are going to heaven - no question! 

But it is not all about heaven and the afterlife. God left His spirit to live in us and guide us thru this mess of life. He promised to never leave or forsake us, to leave His spirit for help and guidance, to give life the purpose it was designed to have, and He promised to prepare a place in heaven after we die.

Many lump Christianity into the religion box because man has made it a business and man is still broken, making mistakes all the time. Religion is Man's attempt to get to heaven - Man's rules and man's mess. Jesus is God letting us in on his coat tails - kinda like buying direct from the manufacturer! 

Merry Christmas! It is a day of great joy. It split history into BC and AD! It is an amazing day and Blessed Holiday for many!
