October already??

Hey - Can not believe it is October already! Christmas is around the corner, the weather has changed and it is cooling off, leaves are falling, leaves were changing in South Dakota!

I spent the last week in South Dakota - Sioux Falls - at Celebrate Church. I have not posted in a while but have been really busy. As you can see by my last post - it has not been with any billable time for the most part. I have found being more out of work is crazier than being buried with work! The time commitment to find and book everything I can is actually more involved than just going in to work!

SO - last week went really great! I had a great time hanging in South Dakota! I was a part of Celebrate Churches Inovators Conference. They had a small but very cool group of pastors out and I met this awesome bass player from Orlando - Rohan Reid. This guy was Jamaican and a great funky jazz player! I loved hooking up with Rohan and hope we can do some coast to coast collaborations in the near future!

Chris Fickel and Tara are a treat to work with and I love Pastor Keith!  Overall - a really great church and a place I enjoy being! I was offered a more regular schedule to go be apart and love the fact there is some work maybe booking into the future a bit!

It was a great trip and I am blessed it looks like I will be heading out more.

At home - stuff to deal with but it will all work out like it is supposed to. Getting unpacked and back into the groove today and praying for the best today has to offer!

Just wanted to check in and say hey!

Christmas searches are really picking up for 2010! I am hopeful that some bookings and music sales will carry the years end with great music again! Enjoy Fall and come back soon!
