Interesting day today like no other ---------------->> yet it happens every year.

Today was tax day for me. October 15th is the REAL TAX DAY since there are no more extensions you can file and you HAVE TO DO taxes by October 15th!!

I delivered my numbers to the CPA today and was very excited to have lower income again this year (and lower deductions to match.)

Most the time, being a poor musician is a bad thing -----> except for 1 day each year.

Today I could rejoice in having a bad year! I was able to be excited that no one is buying CDs and people just rip off my music! I was blessed by loosing gigs due to a lame economy and personal injury earlier this year!! TODAY is a day like no other!!

Tomorrow we will be back to fighting for artist rights and copyright protections, calling clubs and band leaders looking for work, and booking whatever I can get.

Funny the difference a day makes.....

Somehow I can see it happening again, just as it has in the past - over and over and over again......
