Easter Video just posted on YouTube

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!

I have new video just posted for Easter! I recorded some favorite Church hymns on my tenor saxophone, unaccompanied - just the sax. When I was a kid I played The Old Rugged Cross at Church and it was the first time I had played sax outside of a school concert. I was young, it was Easter, the sun was on its way up into the sky but I was cold and very scared! I remember it like it was yesterday!

The new video features The Old Rugged Cross and 2 other hymns I grew up with in Church - At the Cross and Amazing Grace! I did a quick map on these 3 hymns to at least know what key I wanted to play them in and hit record - played thru it once and set the music to a video clip I created earlier in the week of crosses, flowers and communion pictures I had taken over the past few years. Of course most of the pics I liked were from the last 6 months or so, but it was 110 images.

I knew how long the video was and kept playing until it looked like the music was covered for the right length!

I find video creation comes from all sorts of different ideas and can start with music or video clips, or just a concept or event I want to cover with a new clip.

Enough said - EASTER HYMNS 2010
