NEW SAX VIDEO #3 for Spring 2010 - YouTube is fun....

As I mentioned yesterday, I had an amazing day out at the beach! Spring in Southern California can be awesome!! I spent some time in San Clemente by the pier and then hit Dana Point - Doheny Beach for some bird watching. What a perfect day and dumb luck figured into some awesome pictures and videos.

I uploaded the first one yesterday - simple video clip, very little advertising me on it at all and a familiar pop love song! See the previous post for "That's What Friends Are For" - Tenor Sax and Birds at the Beach.

The NEW Sax Love Song Video I just uploaded is THE SAX LOVE SONG of all time. Requested more often in clubs than beer, Europa was first recorded by Carlos Santana and later was made famous by sax player Gato Barbieri. I recorded it on my Gospel Truth CD in 2001 with a band I was working with back then - Rob Mullins Band. We tracked it live in studio and did it just like we had hundreds of times before in the clubs.

I have always loved this version and hope you enjoy it too! The video footage is a simple clip of waves at the beach - wrapping around the audio clip is the sound of the waves and wind throughout the track - brought down some during the music. The video clip seemed so perfect to me I let it roll for a few minutes after the music ended! Posted on You Tube under Romantic Love Songs Saxophone.
