Happy Valentines Day

A little story of my experiences on YouTube this past 2 weeks and the cool stuff after that. Love the web cuz you can pull past the stats and see and dedicate romance in music and it is still FREE.

What an amazing last week or 2. I have been getting a little better about getting in front of Holidays and promoting what I have with what I have access to. I jumped on You Tube for Valentines Day the beginning of February. I started with trying to promote my Love Songs Videos and wanted to see if I could push my number 2 love song video past my number 1 video - a Gospel Jazz Video Clip.

I started with a new article on the Sax Video Site explaining how to share video clips on everything from Socials to BLOGs. That gave me the idea of Video Dedications for Valentines Day. As I watched my long standing number 1 video move to number 2, I also saw traffic moving up. I had seen a pretty big drop when Christmas ended due to Christmas being a holiday that definitely ENDS.

I immediately noticed numbers that got me excited on You Tube! My Love Song Video - You Are So Beautiful was out performing everything. I then Shared videos responses on You Tube from each video to the next that were Love Songs. Another bump in traffic!

I decided last week to make a new love song sax video for YouTube. As I researched thru youtube I noticed Romantic Sax Videos seemed to have more views with pretty lame clips, than the Love Song Videos I had been posting on YouTube. So, I started with my Love Songs Play List. A Play List is a group of songs that you group together and they can have any content you like from YouTube. I took an inactive play list for Love Songs and changed up the wording to include Romantic and Sexy love songs for the sax. The play list began to see more traffic and new life.

With a little excitement rolling from these minor successes, I decided to create a new Sax Video for youtube, but go more Romantic and Sexy when I posted it. The new clip hit well over 400 views a day and immediately moved to number 1 on my video views stats!!

I did all the share and post functions I talk about on the Sax Video TV site and optimized the clips for good You Tube search. I did everything I had done before, but probably did it a little better. I had been promoting  video sharing as a replacement or addition to eCards on all the Social Networks, so the viral nature has been moving much faster than I have seen before!

As I looked at the stats, the numbers fill in a day or 2 after the fact, I got even more excited. I had figured those Christmas highs where going to take months or even till next Christmas to see again. NOT TRUE!

I don't know if all of Feb 12th traffic is in on my youtube stats, but I can tell you my single day high on you tube has been shattered and keeps going up! I LOVE THAT!

RIght now the February 12th view total on You Tube is showing 2,300 video views for that day!  That is a new record, beating out my 1700 view day in December fueled by Christmas Video Clips!

I added a 2nd Romantic Love Song Video for Valentines 2010 and in 24 hours it shows 500 views. Since it is a new clip it has not started showing in the Stats numbers - When it hits I am expecting another bump in numbers - add Valentines Day being tomorrow - I think the numbers will come in at nearly 3000 views for a single day!

Not a number person but just want to see the videos?? Check them out! SHARE them on you You Tube, BLOGs, Social or anywhere you want to say, "I care!" "I am thinking of you!" ~~ Girls like this stuff guys!!!!
