February 19th Updates
It is hard to believe we are already blasting through another month in 2009! I have been sooooo busy this month and soooo happy to be able to say that.
I had a Chick Fil-A conference this past Sunday thru Wednesday and it was awesome. I love the people and direction of this organization. Truit Kathy is an amazing man.Dan Kathy is just as inspirational. The 2000 operators at this event are doing great things in there businesses and communities. And the sales charts say it all. Chick Fil-A has seen growth every year and going into a hard time in this messed up world, Chick Fil-A is still breaking records. They treat people right, they make great food, they have high marks from everybody in the industry and the buzz continues to grow!
I have done a few of these events and they only get better every year. They gave away tons of cars and trips again this year and really do treat there people in an impressive way. Got to meet Kirk Cameron, play with Rick Braun, financial guru Dave Ramsey, gospel singer Nicole Mullins and hang with the Kathy family again this year and it was a blast!

NOW I am in Virginia with Charles Billingsley. I left the Chick Fil-A event on Wednesday and went home to repack bags and took a red eye last night to Virginia. I had about 15 minutes to get bags open in the room and had to leave for rehearsal after flying all night. We have a great band but lots of material to cover and spent ALL DAY working on the music! After flying all night and playing all day - am beat!!!!
SO, we are playing Chapel tomorrow at Liberty University, have final sound check and rehearsal for the live recording and track the CD tomorrow night to a live audience. It is gonna be great! We have to get ready for Sunday next. Sunday we will play at Thomas Road Baptist Church and then record live for a TBN TV special that night with a shorter version of the show. Monday I get to go home and see my baby that I totally miss!!!!
I was excited to tell Charles Billingsley - the guy I am doing this CD with this week - My You Tube hits are over 60,000 for the clips I posted playing with him and my #1 video on You tube is one off his DVD! I love you tube and do have to tell you-all that the last 5 days my videos have broke the 1,000 page views a day barrier. I didn't think would ever hit over a thousand downloads a day!! Now we are on day 5 of over 1000 videos everyday!!
I love that!
What seemed to push these numbers over the top was new Love Song Sax Videos recently added. Check out my YouTube channel and watch a bunch of saxophone videos tonight!!
SO - that's all that is going on right now... and I have to crash. Been to long since the last post but it would require being home long enough to get online and start writing....
hugs and blessings to all,
Greg Vail SAXBOY

Happy for YOU!!! See prayers really work!!! BTW...your Love Songs link on this entry doesn't work. It hooks you up to myspace not youtube and there isn't a youtube link from the default page. Try it & you'll see what I mean. Wouldn't want anyone to miss those awesome videos...
