WOW!! I have been so busy and so much has been going on I was stunned to see the counter on GregVail.com hit a land mark figure!

Don't know how I missed it but have to say I am very excited!

Page views are what I look at and track. The number of visitors is important but I really care about how much my sites are contributing to the internet and have found the page view to be the mark. Many boast of HITS! Hits are counted by every piece of a page that loads and a busy page can account for dozens of HITS in one page load. For example, I do over a million HITS every month, but this is not a realistic number to watch or advertise (even though many sites use it to try and look all cool).

I am looking at a total page view as of today, December 20th, 2008 of....

We have broke the MILLION MARK!!

This is since the page counter was added and I have no idea when that was but obviously it was a while after the site was online.

I am very excited! Thanks for being apart of Greg Vail online and visiting the sites. And thanks for your vote by visiting and revisiting pages and information you found of interest or value!!

I am looking for You Tube to be the next land mark figure, with current traffic suggesting we will hit over 100,000 Saxophone Video views before years end! Really people - I do so appreciate you!!!!!!

I have to admit, 2008 has been a very hard year. Many things went very wrong and the problems of 2006 and 2007 just rolled into 08 with a vengeance. But now, looking into 2009; I would have to say it feels as if 2008 was a big move of the bat, back, for a home run year for 2009! Just this week, with the Weezer Video with Jermaine Dupri and other young rock stars, the Fox News broadcast coming for Christmas Services at Saddleback, lots of new video and audio to post, and a rock star style gig off the coast of Venezuela for New Years Eve, I am looking for that career home run to fly far into '09 and beyond!

Yes the music business has been broken for years now, and the whole country has caught up with greed and financial disaster. Somehow, the outlook feels great again, and for the first time in years!

Keep positive, and look for the place that starts moving - then go with it and ride it as far as it goes!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
