Don't know how I missed it but have to say I am very excited!
Page views are what I look at and track. The number of visitors is important but I really care about how much my sites are contributing to the internet and have found the page view to be the mark. Many boast of HITS! Hits are counted by every piece of a page that loads and a busy page can account for dozens of HITS in one page load. For example, I do over a million HITS every month, but this is not a realistic number to watch or advertise (even though many sites use it to try and look all cool).

I have to admit, 2008 has been a very hard year. Many things went very wrong and the problems of 2006 and 2007 just rolled into 08 with a vengeance. Yes the music business has been broken for years now, and the whole country has caught up with greed and financial disaster. Somehow, the outlook feels great again, and for the first time in years!
