Hey - It's time for a web update.

I have been busy working online for a week now and have some new stuff to tell you-all about.

First - Christmas Sites, sound clips and sharing!
The Christmas Page is up on My Space and very easy to find. You know the MySpace.com part - then mrchristmassaxophone - all one word. Here is the link - Mr Christmas Saxophone
This page has 6 tracks in the player - full CD tracks to hear and enjoy, and a growing number of friends and comments. Drop in and check it out!

The other Social that is huge is Face Book. I have a new Christmas CD page on FaceBook. Cool thing about Face Book pages is the music player can take more songs. You can listen to 12 full Christmas CD tracks as of tonight! Very excited about the page layout and possibilities. Each track has a link to iTunes to purchase that track and the added bonus of getting to hear the whole Christmas Song before buying (instead of 30 seconds).
I don't know how much traffic and use will affect this player, but know that it is working right now GREAT!

Both new Christmas Pages are PUBLIC pages! Most FaceBook pages require membership to view. This is open to the WWW, for all to see and listen. I love that!!

So, that's the Socials.

On my personal site, GregVail.com, we have added a new feature for more personalized search. We added 5 new pages to the Sound Clips page on the site. Now you can search sound samples by Instrument online and find a specific page for each instrument with audio examples for each. The new pages are -

Soprano Saxophone sound clips
Alto Saxophone sound clips
Tenor Saxophone sound clips
Baritone Saxophone sound clips
Jazz Flute sound clips

Since most people search audio by instrument, now search will be better achieved with these specific audio pages.

I guess the other thing that seems really cool to me is watching YouTube numbers take off. I reported a few posts back that we broke 50,000 Sax Video Views. We have added more video, 21 total at this point. 65,000 video views now with 57 subscribers and 53 favorites clicked. I love seeing these numbers race on, knowing that the medium is reaching thousands I could never get to play for world wide!

I was really excited seeing a CD Baby order with the referral listed as You Tube! Add an order from a friend on Face Book that I would never have meet without meeting her there - pretty exciting!

Of course I spend far more on marketing than I ever make on music, but it is so encouraging to see people responding to these virtual venues.
