Hey - just a quick post to let you-all know there is a new political / religious BLOG I started a few days ago. TABOO since they are topics we are supposed to avoid - but who better to jump right in and get in big trouble but yours truly!

The posts are not CNN researched, FOX News replacing posts> They are very similar to a sax solo - free formed train of thought starting from a basic grip or idea, and then developed until it seems like a good time to stop or the band leader just cued the next section becasue you were playing too long....

Here is the link - http://www.saxboy-opinions.blogspot.com

Just throwing it out for debate and better understanding. I am often wrong and this will be no exception.

Peace out...

I checked out your new website,

Interesting to say the least. I liked the Obama youtube video of a few years ago where he himself states that he doesn't have the experience it takes to lead the nation. Something changed his mind.

I liked the traits described that a good president must have. I totally agree with them, character is a must. All in all, I believe McCain is a man of character that was shaped over many years especially the ones spent as a prisoner of war. The fact that he can't raise his arms over his head all residuals from the injuries received from daily torture. Yet, it's clear that he truly cares about this country.

You are very king Marisa! Was just throwing it out along with the million other opinions running the web into the muck! Thanks for looking and glad you didn't decide to hate me for having an opinion. Have got a few bad emails and the site was reported as offensive. Pretty funny and revealing!
      You are a blessing,

      Greg,
I can't believe you would get hate mail over the content of that website.
I want to be well informed about the candidates, any and all information is appreciated in order to make a good decision.
Personally, I think the media has written McCain off, he now states he's the underdog and he's right. I have felt the media has been biased for quite awhile, it seems everything McCain says and does is picked apart. Obama on the other hand, seems to have the media looking the other way when something unsavory comes up about his acquaintances or his past. I don't find that to be honest journalism.
Obama is a great speaker, but that doesn't mean he is of great character. McCain is not the best speaker , but I sense some great qualities in him.
I want to quote a letter in the local newspaper today:
" Earmarks are what legislators attach to bills to keep the money from being scrutinized by the appropriations committees. Earmarks are usually for special interests, friends, cronies and campaign contributors. Usually, legislators that ask for and receive these earmarks are repaid in campaign contributions. Of the four people on the ballot, only one has never asked for an earmark-John McCain.
Barack Obama and Sarah Palin received hundreds of millions in earmarks. Joe Biden asked for over $350 million this year, and he refuses to disclose how much he has asked for in his 35 years in Congress. I'm guessing many billions.
I've changed my mind several times during this campaign. However, I am voting for John McCain. He is not Bush. Not even close. He is not bought and paid for. You may not agree with him, but he can't be paid enough to change his mind."
So there you have it, not being able to be bought, says something about McCains character. The foundation is strong.
Hang in there Greg, sorry you got blasted.
      Marisa
