Just a quick update to let you know what's up.

Bad news came in today on the passing of my Uncle Morey Vail. Prayers go out to the his girls, extended family and friends. Morey had been fighting health issues for some time, and this came as no surprise, yet still brings great sadness to many. I missed seeing Morey over recent years, and am greatly saddened by today's news.

So,

On the music front -

New sound clips are up on the Tenor Saxophone site. Clips from Cris Barbers new CD, Smooth Jazz Classics, Emotion, KSBR's Birthday BASH 2004, and more is on the way. I will also be updating the Alto sound clips page as soon as I can get to it.

My You Tube channel was updated last night and has more stuff to check out than before including sales links to CDs.

The Greg Vail Official Web Site has new Sound Clips for Smooth Jazz Classics done and added to the sound clips page.

On the CD Release - I am working hard on getting the business stuff straight for the new CD. I was on the phone and in meetings over the past few days discussing label options for the new CD - Smooth Jazz Classics. It is very possible the CD will be released on a different label than Greg Vail Music. This is pretty exciting and pretty scary. The deadline is mid week, next week. I will be making formal announcements regarding the release date and label at that time.
