Vegas in July

Hey web peoples!!

I have had a little down time on posts and blogs due to some computer issues. Got hit by a nasty virus on my main computer and the 'home from Lynchburg', Yamaha podcasts, and general 'after my computer blew up' articles never got posted. I will be back posting them when I get home. I had images and posts done but could not get them uploaded.... oh well.....

So, today I sit in Las Vegas wondering how hot it will get today?????

It was 106 last night at 10 PM. I am here with friends and have hopes to get some meetings in today with 2 casino dudes that book jazz, and hit KLVN looking for Mr. Fox to say hi.

I am here with my baby Vanessa and we came with our best friends in the world, the Gunns.

We are having a ball. The pools are a big plus. We hit the Hard Rock last night and I got this image of the kids and Vangie out front.

Yes we are tearing up the strip and having fun!! We even did Freemont Street last night! Very cool light show, Queen music and fun people were out in full force!

Even driving out was fun.

We came out yesterday. As we drove we first saw an Asian couple on the center divider in Irvine with a totally wasted front end. The smoke was still coming off the motor and we had just missed seeing it happen because there was not any police there yet. Wasted car, and know one else to be seen that could have been involved.

Well, we then got going on the freeway and at a large merger had a very near disaster with 2 big rigs and a large truck with a trailer full of recreational toy rides. It was very close to contact and scary realizing that either one of these trucks could have and almost did loose control, right in front of us. It was a great view, great show and would have had us in the middle of all of it.

God is good and we continued on our way. Later we hear an explosion and just in front of us on our right a big trash type truck blew a tire and rubber went flying, smoke everywhere and more excitement was to be seen.

It was a very exciting drive to say the least!

Typical of a musician, I did share my room with 3 young ladies last night, but typical of me, they were my Daughter and her 2 best friends. Life is good! They couldn't get to sleep last night, but I now post this because they can't get up this morning either.

So, Lynchburg 2 with photo gallery will be posted. JULY 4TH needs to get posted too.

I have a bunch of new soundclips to get online. I did sax solo clips for my new CD and new CDs I have recorded on this year. They will be a large sound clip update for my Alto Saxophone and Tenor Saxophone sites. I will also be uploading the new clips for Smooth Jazz Classics. These new clips are market researched and sure to give the listener the essence of the song in 30-40 seconds - at least that's what I was told.

I'll get them up when we get back unless these kids sleep the rest the morning...

Summer Blessings and safety to all,

Very, very funny!! By the way, I also was behind a truck filled with children amusement park rides last week. In fact, I was in the middle of a caravan! It made me really nervous, they weren't the safest drivers on the road that day.

It never fails that when you ask kids to pose for pics, that is what you are going to get. Always funny, though!
