Want to thank you all for a lot of activity and love over the past few weeks. I am always excited to see something I love take off and begin doing really well! The blog is doing great and it is only thanks to you stopping in and then posting and emailing ideas, helps and kind words of encouragement. I am so glad the blog is hitting so many different areas of interest and help online. Thanks again guys and gals!!!!!

So, I am going to the airport tonight and will be gone, mostly offline and away from the Post Office till Monday morning. I will ship any orders received by this afternoon but will not be shipping any orders till Monday after that. Sorry, but at this point, any business help is gone and it's all me for the time being. With road trips starting to come in, the shipping schedule will be pushed back by a few days here and there due to geography.

Gloria Trevi is a very well known Latin Diva that has been called the Latin Madona, and for good reason. I did a few dates with here when she first started hiring a sax player here in the US and then none. I found out that Jessy J had started working with her and the calls had stopped. Well, I am subbing for Jessy J this weekend since Jessy is doing so well with the new Guitar and Saxes dates coming up and Michael Bolton (to have such problems - but then again, have you seen here? It will make more sense taking a look at Jessy J.)

Either way, it's back with Gloria Trevi this week and more Gloria Trevi Dates will follow. We rehearsed all day yesterday and it is a great band and the shows are always really huge and really crazy!! See Gloria's site here.

This CD is as much a labor of love as it is a tribute to the pioneers of the instrumental music that preceded and evolved into what is now known as "Smooth Jazz".

If a great recording needs to start with a great song, we couldn't have done better than this collection of classics, written and performed by some of the biggest names in the business.

What a joy to be able to play with these great melodies, and with such great musicians. Having legends like David Pack (who played Guitar on the remake of his classics hit "You're the Biggest Part Of Me") and Grant Geissman (who's original solo on "Feels So Good" made him famous, and who graciously repeated the effort here) was indeed as added thrill.

Every attempt was made to honor the spirit of the originals, while trying to add just enough of our own touch to them. I hope you enjoy my tribute to these classics even half as much as I enjoyed playing them!
