March ALREADY!!

Dang, I am freaking> It's already March. Day Light Savings happened 3 weeks early this year. Easter is in 2 weeks. Spring is here and the flowers are blooming. It was actually hot today in Southern California!

2008 is screaming along and I wouldn't mind if it could just slow down a bit. The new CD is sitting on the shelf for the time being. Money is the issue. I did meet with a guy that works in venture capitol and will be putting together a business plan over the next 2 weeks to have the proper tools to hit the streets and get the final funding for the CD! That went really well!

I have been meeting tons of great people online thru My Space and Face Book. If you want to hook up and have accounts on either network, invite me to be your friend. My Space account is MySpace.com/GregVailSax and Face Book link is here.

I really thought my CD would be out by now and at this point I have to concede, I have no idea when it will be released or when the tracks will be available for those of you that have already asked. It will be out this year, but I can't stick any date on it. Oh well, I really hope this changes really quick.

Work this week was good. I did clubs Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat night, 6 Church services Sat and Sun, a session for a pop funk, Christian Jazz project, Morris Chapman's big Birthday Party/Gospel Jam tonight and booked a few more gigs, talked to people, read some great books on marketing music, meetings held on promoting the CD and started a new business plan.

A lot of really good things going on, despite the fact the CD is on hold for a while now.

So, with time change it looks pretty late, so I'm logging off for now. Don't forget to get over to MySpace to listen to 3 tracks from the new CD - Smooth Jazz Classics and keep me in your thoughts and prayers on actually getting this thing released before I die.

Thanks for reading and posting if you want to say hi.

Hey bro - Thanks so much for shoutin' out! Yes I do have that old trophy and have no idea how. 2 divorces has meant a lot of my stuff ended up in other peoples garage sales!

Somehow that old box has survived and I have that one, and a Golden Key award, of all things - a Doug Web award (which was a compliment and dis), Dean's Honor List cert., Graduation Diploma's from HS, JC and College, and more just junk.

I'm grateful this box has made it with me!

Well, so glad you like the tracks!! I can't wait to get it out and hope you might be one of my first comments on the new CD!!

      Peace,
