Predatory Credit Card Practices hit the NEWS again!

Credit Cards you can do with out!It seems that Banks have taken it upon there Credit Card Customers to offset the morgage company failures over the past few years. Of equal interest to the article written by a Business Week Correspondant, the responses have been posting so fast I can't keep up with them. People - We are facing an epidemic attack against Americans everywhere, and it's our friendly bank that is attacking.
Yet again, our representatives in Congress and the House of Representatives should have taken action, bringing about legislation to make illegal, many of the practices the banks claim to "have the rights to do". Fact is, a State or Federal Law would make many of the absurd rules they attempt to uphold, illegal. And they should be illegal.
Read a few pages of the comments posted on this article and consider calling or writing your Congressman or Woman. These greedy thieves don't seem able to legislate themselves at all; maybe we can help them by making a call or 2.

HSBC Sucks!A little history that details my personal experience with the evil that is growing in our society. They tried to triple my rate because I had too much of my usable balance on my credit cards used. Paid on time. Never over and once late.
Enough for now. Just look over this article and a few pages of posts to get a feel for the millions being effected by this evil. There have been 3200 responses in just a short time so it is a real hot button! Also - please remember - a BANK has stock holders and has to show profits. A Credit Union is owned by you and passes on to you, every time they save some money or make some money. They pass it on it lower rates and better deals to you. Leave your bank and find a good credit union. In Southern California -
