Well it took me the better part of a week but the Horn arrangements are done for The In Crowd! Very Tower of Power sounding and really a big boost to the track! I brought them over to Tony Guerrero's house yesterday and Tony really liked them too. He plays trumpet along with the keys and studio stuff, so he is very aware of horn parts and how they fit. He took them as is, and that track is almost done, with the exception of possible live percussion to be added.

I tracked all the saxes and midi trumpet parts for the arranging to know whether or not the parts were working. Tony and Keith (My mixing guy) will be replacing the midi with real trumpet this week.

We have 5 tracks in the done box and all but the original listed as almost done. Some of the work to be done is just studio work - printing midi parts and cleaning up files.

I'm really excited about this CD. It is nearing completion and I'm not even a little tired of hearing it yet. I was told that when you are tired of the CD you are done with it. I still have a few ideas to work thru on these tracks, but am very happy with the few listed as DONE!
