Sax Players Blog - October Update

Fall is here! It finally cooled off a bit and the year is ending soon. I have been busy with a new CD. "Smooth Jazz Classics" will be done by the end of the year, with a release date, hopefully coming in 2007. If need be, I will hold it for 2008, but only the next 2-3 weeks will tell how close we will be to getting everything done.

Tony Guerrero and I are working feverishly, to add live players and finish recording our parts. It should be a great project. Stay tuned for more as we get closer to the end of the year!

I am just back from Catalina Island, for the JazzTrax Jazz Festival. Worked with David Pack, old lead singer from Ambrosia, and it was a great show and a great hang. I used to play a lot for that festival, so old friends and great music are expected when I do get the chance to hang on the Island. thanks to David Pack and band for letting me join them!

Greg Vail and Steve Nieves (Plays sax with Lao Tizer and is a great friend that I get to sub for a lot!!)

Hope you all have a blessed fall 07, and don't be strangers. Drop in a comment here or stop by my Sax Home Page or Sax Player Blog.

New sites include the upstart of Christmas CDs dot net. I do want to encourage you-all to check out my Christmas CDs and order early enough to enjoy them thru the Christmas Season 2007!

Blessings,
