UPDATE TIME

I have been in UPDATE MODE! Hitting the sites and fixing stuff, Reading emails and adding links and names, and fine tuning the search engine optimization for some of the lagging sites.

With Dave Guardala now in jail, my schedule has been opening up more and things are starting to get done again. Saxophone.US had been ignored for over a year. I had email suggestions, links, and some layout issues to address. The site was updated and is already showing signs of greater health in the numbers.

Also this week, I hit the TenorSaxophone.US and AltoSaxophone.US sites. Both needed some link, sax players and CDs added, better linking and visibility between the sites, and some search engine tweaking. I added links to the sound clips pages to my CD Baby pages for people to be able to purchase a CD they liked. I kinda thought I had set that up months ago, but found I had totally missed that opportunity. I did some spell checking too. I will make changes real late on web sites, and then find I have spelling errors to deal with, sometimes months later. So, I tired to link them up more and cleaned them up.

GospelJazzCDs.com had a new article added. I think these Christian/Gospel sites will be rearranged a bit when I get the ChristmasSax.com site up. I just added the article because it was an appropriate site to do so. I also did some SEO work on it.

Add GregVail.com to the list. I finally updated my calendar after a long Summer of no updates. I was not ignoring it, I had a good reason and felt like a posted calendar was not the best call. Things have changed and it is time to start posting and pushing the live shows! I updated a few other pages too, and did some spell checking and link changing. GregVail.com was supposed to be redesigned and online with a whole new look by now. The process has all but stopped for now, and I am starting to think I will see gray for the next 20 years. So, just a few little updates for now.

Add ChurchSaxophone.com, SaxReviews.com, ChristmasSax.com and a desire to get back to the Sax Portal idea - SaxophonePlayer.net - the web has been keeping me up late!

I really want to finish the Portal and get 3 new sites up by years end. the Soprano and Bari sites are long over due (SopranoSaxophone.US and BaritoneSaxophone.US), and ChristianSax.com seems to have more and more articles written that would be perfect on that site.

SO - webland - Be prepared! The new sites are coming. The old sites are seeing record visitors. Sax Reviews is doing over 600-750 pages a day! Tenor Saxophone US is running around 600 pages a day and Alto Saxophone US is doing the same. Those 3 sites alone are scaring me! And all this while I was dealing with Guardala garbage and ignoring the sites! The time has come to move it all to the next level. Serious updates and finishing the missing sites in the network will cover all the bases and maintain quality information and helps to saxophonists at every age and level. I have had this goal for a few years now and we are accomplishing this goal. It's just taking a little longer than I had thought it would.

My web site partner has moved and redesigned Shannon-Kennedy.com, KenKaseMusic.com and AngelEyesMusic.com. Upcoming sites for Shannon are ShannonKennedyFanClub.com and JazzGenres.com

Just remember, 2007 isn't over yet. We are looking for a big end to a very hard and crazy year!!
