Smooth CD
I have been having a ball arranging for 5 saxes and now have 4 sax parts done - the 5th to start right now. It is really cool hearing the parts come together and knowing they are all me. The sound is great, parts seem good to me, and the idea is perfect for this song.
Tony Guerrero and I are now 6 1/2 songs done and this CD is shaping up nicely. This latest track - Biggest Part Of Me by David Pack - is a great addition to the project and I always love the tracks I get to be more involved with, so this one is top of the list right now!
The Gospel CD is finally moving ahead. Bobby Cruz and I meet tomorrow to get another track started. I am feeling pretty blessed these days with 2 solo CDs in the works and now a band disc scheduled for, as early as next month with the Church guys doing Instrumental Rock tracks from the Rock and Fusion worlds. Add the Sidemen.Inc band - R&B and Fusion favorite songs that don't get much attention, and you have a really interesting mix of music and opportunity on the horizon!
