It's 2007 - time to get'er done!

Bobby Cruz and I will begin the CD we started ages ago. Traditional Hymns done Smooth Jazz - to be called Timeless Hymns, the Classics. We are starting back up and updates will follow.
Also on the schedule. Long time friend and fellow Jazz Musician Tony Guerrero and I have started a new CD project together recording classic Contemporary and Smooth Jazz songs with a new urban, R&B feel and contemporary sound. The songs are coming together really smooth, and I can't wait to start pumping this CD. It's gonna kill!
Just when you thought it was not possible to get anything else on the plate - Gigs are booking like crazy and a 3rd CD project is possibly in the works with a new band I started booking 6 months ago - Skippin Stones. I hope we can get it together and hit you-all with the rock edge that instrumental music can project.
As for the live jobs - Worked with a DJ vibe this week, playing to loops with keyboardist Tim Redfield. Pretty cool concept and we will be exploring the technology on a few more Lexus gigs next week - very different.
New Band, Sidemen Inc debuted tonight at Spaghettini in Seal Beach Ca. tonight. Great band, very urban songs and a great first gig. We will be back at Spag soon so stay tuned - gregvail.com > schedule.
Just booked a gig with David Pack from the old band Ambrosia. Pack is on the Smooth Jazz curcuit and I love working with him! The Greg Vail Schedule also has Greg Vail at Cavallino's and Steamers coming this month so don't forget to check out the calendar on my home page!
Many more things to talk about but it's time to crash for a bit. Thanks for dropping in. Remember CDs are always available for purchase from
GregVail.com 24/7/365, and the new stuff will always post here right away!!
