A Quick note to let you all know we finished day 1 of recording Shannon Kennedy's new CD today. Featured thus far are Bubba Bryant on Drums, Bob Fazio on Bass, Dan Q-tip Rekard on Piano and Shannon on Saxes.

We tracked 8 tunes today, live to protools and the stuff sounded great! Tomorrow we will get the last 4 tracks and some solo overdubs finished. Shannon is doing a great job! The music is almost all new originals from Shannon and the CD is really gonna be nice. Schedules for release in 6 weeks? or so. I'll get a release date posted when it is set.

I will be coproducing and playing some EWI and a little sax later in the week for the CD. Stay tuned for more....
